What is the horse power benefits

A better than average build with a reground cam? W/3.55’s? Not happening. Not possible. Speak with Oregon cams. They’ll set you up with something along the lines of a cam of 226@050 with more lift. If you choose an OEM AVS, you’ll need the MoPar dual plane intake which if it’s actually found...

What is the horse power benefits

A slight increase in duration affords a good jump in torque without the need of extra stall in the converter and a few hundred more rpm’s with often not adversely effecting gas mileage.

What is the horse power benefits

Only because it’s newer. Ether drill the passage or like in the case of most serious heads, use pushrod oiling. Rockers for this set up can be purchased for standard Edelbrock heads. Easily done for a LA and any serious roller will need work done to the blocks oiling passages anyway. OK @...

What is the horse power benefits

No, I’d call it a destroked 360. (345 cid IIRC) The problem with this 360 crank into a 318 is pistons. Not the displacement. Yes That would be fine as well. This is one place I’d take advantage of. Increasing the engine size over a modern car. Be it the stroker route or just an over bored...

I’ve run a stock 40 amp without issues unless it’s raining heavy at night and the tunes are cranking through the multi amp stero system ……. During the day, no issues

Regarding the biggermopar performance valve covers

But not at the huge price tag! Just chillin out drinking coffee - Good morning… Decide on what you want in the hole you need to drill. Often I have seen these used with breathers with tubes where the hoses run down to the collector or vacuum pump. Grommet size hole has to be determined...

    Proper Thermosts temp for 318

I lived in New York 99% of my life. So cold I understand. I used to run 180* thermostats. Heat was fine. Switched to a 195, heat works even better. A hotter engine doesn’t perform better, but in a daily driver where your not overly concerned with performance but more so with defrosting your...

Maximum RPM for 273 64 Dart

Even though it’ll spin higher than where it makes reasonable power, the oiling system may not be able to adequately supply oil past 6500.

What size spacer best for heat soak slant 6 Carter

You’ll need to lengthen the choke rod Any time you move away from stock there can be a challenge to re adjust the set up. I was thinking of a two barrel when I stated that.

What size spacer best for heat soak slant 6 Carter

If you have the clearance, a 1/2 is great. IMO, I’d make it a two hole spacer. Wood is best, phenolic resin is very good, aluminum, not so much.

    426 small block

could be seen ether way I guess? IDK, I seen a question on cylinder heads or the entire package as a whole. No matter. A banana can be just as painful as club…. Depending on how and where you get hit!

    426 small block

    4.185 X 4.18 = 460.54 4.2 X 4.18 = 463.29 4.2 X 4.25 = 471.05 The trick there is a block that can use a 4.2 piston in its bores and finding or making that once available 4.25 sbm crank.

    426 small block

The Indy heads have that reputation…. I think it would be a excellent screamer. 4.180 stroke…. Your comparing a banana to a cave man club. He is also asking about cylinder heads more so over the stroker size.

Reason there not popular is expensive. Price a stainless header the same as a cheaply made mild steel header of the exact same design and you’ll soon be out of stainless steel!

    Header Question

The s’mores holes make getting this bolts in easier. That’s why I think it was done. IMO, *I Think* those holes in the flanges are for placement on a jig to set up the flange for welding the tubes on.
