    Tri-Y Headers for torque?

Some of us are mental and happy, others are delusional and over confident. I’m confident in a very limited number of things. I’m white I’ll die Jesus is Lord I have a great family with many faults but I love them all. I friends call me crazy and not right but they keep coming by and calling...

    Tri-Y Headers for torque?

He gets that every so often and ignores it as if your the jackass and loose your cool and/or forgot your meds for the day. He is blind to the fact. He hasn’t built **** ether but processes like a parrot what he reads here like he knows everything.

    Tri-Y Headers for torque?

On V8 engines, it has been shown many times to be BS. Where this myth came in I don’t know and how it still persists after many dyno tests showing it not to be true is nearly amazing. The tri Y headers are fine for use but I see no benefit that would have me use them in a torque search for any...

    Whaddya think about these plugs?

Seems typical on the color spread because of the intake manifold design starves 2, feeds two right, runs rich on the last two. Is that the order they came out in? The top and bottom seem a bit dark and rich to me. I’m actually not very familiar with how they run in a /6 despite having owned...

    I need your honest opinion

Selling it for a better car sounds like a reasonable path. As my Mom would say, No sense throwing good money at bad things. The only other path, is to learn and do everything yourself. This is hampered by the amount of space you have more than the lack of money. Figure on double the garage...

    Oil filter relocation kit

And sooooo annoying it is… On a race car I can live with it and chalk it up to routine maintenance. Before I take it out on the street or track, a quick wipe down is fine. But no leaks. Once it leaks……:mob::mad:

Oooo, yea… your temps are a bit low and rain will kill it dead real fast. So far so good for me if I had a dang car to even drive. Orlando Speedworld is an hour north of me but way to far for you. Ol’Mississippi have anything for you close by? Rob

    Best possible mileage?

I couldn’t stand my 6 cylinder in my ‘03 Dakota. No power and even worse in the summer where I had to hire a team of Gerbils to run on a wheel to help that lame *** engine move the 4X4 truck. At least the feed was cheap! 20 mpg’s with some added help. The MSD6 was a little help.

    Best possible mileage?

Shifting gears can take its toll. Many repeated movements add up. I’m not sure of the ladies pay more. Getting an automatic “Park Avenue for retirement” is a well deserved retirement gift for herself that’s is well earned.

    Best possible mileage?

Doesn’t start with a bump of the key? More initial timing, limit the advance back to what you have now. More initial makes the car jump better off idle.

    Best possible mileage?

I remember the National competition when all the auto makers got into the mileage challenge. 318’w we’re not used. The mighty /6 was and the 170 was the champ.

    Best possible mileage?

@AJ/FormS I’ve built a few engines but never a mileage master build. I haven’t even finished sorting out the wife’s engine when, of course, another issue pops up. My sons engine in his ride was a D.O.A. Fresh rebuild. Previous owner left the intake off for a while…. It collected an oil pan full...
