I've been working on a lot of little things on the car lately. The oil burn doesn't seem to be the issue that I thought it was. I've been checking it a lot recently and the oil level has stayed pretty consistent. I've taken it on several rides this year and it drives great. However, I am...

Here is the other upgrade, a Firm Feel Stage 3 power steering box. Every review I read of the Stage 2 they said they wish they had gotten the Stage 3, but I didn't see anyone wishing they hadn't gotten the Stage 3. I think if I were to do it again, I'd get the Stage 2. It's certainly not as...

Here is the first upgrade: This is the setup from Classic Dash. Overall I'm happy. I think it looks great. There were some frustrating portions of the install (mainly the heater controls), but I think my solution will work. The wiring while initially a little intimidating, wasn't too...

The plugs seem to get fouled pretty quickly. You're not far from me at all; I'm on the east side of Charlotte.

I really don't know where the oil is coming from. I've not noticed a lot of smoke; there is some at start up, but I think I have the EFI set a little rich until it gets to temperature. It's also possible that it smokes more than I notice. I did a compression check not too long ago and the...

I knew my motor burned a little bit of oil, so I went and checked it today. It was two quarts low and I just did an oil change on it about 300 miles ago. It's not leaking out anywhere, so a quart every 150 miles seems pretty catastrophic. A rebuild is certainly not in the budget right now, so...

I installed some PST 1.03" torsion bars to replace my original slant six bars. Wow, if I had known how transformed the car would feel, I would have swapped them out years ago. I guess you could call it a 50th birthday present. The car turned 50 on the 10th.

I've been wondering what had happened with this car. So you've been without this car for what 4 years now?

I finally got my US Car Tool subframe connectors installed. Big thanks to John at US Car Tool for helping me out. Fatman Fabrication in Mint Hill, NC installed them for me and did a great job very quickly.

I got a new steering wheel for Christmas. I also rebuilt my heater box with a new core, hoses, a lot of fiberglass work, new controls, gaskets and defrost tubes. With some extra Christmas money I bought a Hellwig sway bar for the front. The car came a long way in 2017. I wonder what 2018...

Blue is her favorite color, so she loved the suit. We actually bought it so I could wear it again and it was a big plus that it matched the car. My brother had a very similar picture made when he got married, but I doubt his wife would have let him wear a red tux!

I decided to make new mounts for my transmission cooler since I was installing new cooler lines. This actually pulls it off the radiator a bit and I don't have to poke anything through the radiator. They aren't perfectly pretty, but they're black and hard to see anyway.

I don't even know if this picture will work with Photobucket (see next post), but the keen eye will notice the new Holley Sniper system. I'm very pleased with it along with the Tanks Inc. setup in the rear. I still have some wire and hose routing to tidy up (I see you green zip tie over the...

I tried to get a good picture of the seat belt bracket that you wanted, but my battery died. I'll try again. I got the car back to the house today and installed the rest of the trim. I left the trunk trim off because it needs a little work and I'm missing some hardware. I'm really happy with...

Oh I see what you're saying. There is a metal extension that keeps it away from the retractor. You can kind of see it in this picture: I believe that this is the set I bought: 1968-70 Mopar A Body, 3-Point Conversion Seat Belts, Bucket. The pictures are a little difficult to tell from...

Are you talking about the shoulder portion that attaches to the roof? If so, I already had the provision for that in place, so all I had to do was poke a hole in the headliner and thread the bolt in.
