the 68 will have both the top and bottom pad holes, as well as I believe the radio cut outs may be slightly different as the 67 had round knobs and 68 had thumb wheel

You can buy new bottom dash pads

You could always buy a can. Put a little on the bottom let it dry, if it matches the top go for it, if not you could put a light coat of die on the top as well

I just did mine with duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint. It was black before but needed a refresh. I tried a little bit to see how the colors matched and you really couldn't tell a color difference. Now my bottom dash pad looks brand new

I guess it is more of a semi gloss, have you polished them back up or am I better off painting them?

Is it satin like the dash or were they glossy like the doors?
