    Shift linage questions

Ok, I have more info. the shifter I have is an inland shifter off a 66-68 b body. Can I use my overdrive linkages to make this set up work? I saw an inland shifter for a bodies on ebay. Are the linkages the only differience?

    Shift linage questions

The shift linkages I had planned on using for my 4 speed is to short. I guess I thought they were all the same. My question is, can I use the shifter I have right now with my a body 4 speed and just get different linkages? Or do I need an entirely different setup?

    A body tailshaft

I have 2 different 4 speeds. One is an overdrive unit for an a body. The other is a b body 4 speed. I want to put a 4 speed in my duster behind a 440. I dont want to use the overdrive because it wont hold up to the 440. But the b body 4 speed wont work without a tailshaft for an a body.

    HP limit for OD 833?

I had planned on using an overdrive unit in my 440 duster build but now I'm being told the trans wont hold up. There's a good article on bigblockdart about an OD swap but it just says they'll work for medium HP builds. Thats a little vague in my book. Should I go ahead and get a normal 833 or...
