Turn signal switch for a 1970 A Body

I bought one of Dan’s switches for my Barracuda. Waaaaay better than the crappy reproduction that refused to cancel and was stiff as a board to the point I was worried about snapping the lever in half.

Turbostart Reproduction Batteries Back In Stock

Funny thing is they did the same to me when I bought the retro Mopar Performance Rapid Transit jacket around 2005. Sales guy said no problem, they’ll ship the jacket USPS to my house for around $7.00. A few weeks later I get “ding dong” at my front door and Mr. UPS hands me my parcel and a...

Will Delco-Remy centrifugal advance springs work in a MP distributor?

I have the exact same MP Performance distributor and the factory mechanical advance setting was way too long at something like around 30 degrees. Will Delco-Remy centrifugal advance springs work in a MP distributor?

The Mallory springs offer a slightly different curve than the Summit Racing kit. Here is the Summit kit ignition curve. https://static.summitracing.com/global/images/instructions/sum-850535-1.pdf

Will Delco-Remy centrifugal advance springs work in a MP distributor?

That’s the YH advance mechanism made by Mallory. See my above post for the correct advance spring kit and sticks for setting mechanical advance limit, and I’ve posted a link to the Mallory advance style description.

Will Delco-Remy centrifugal advance springs work in a MP distributor?

If that’s the mechanism he has in his Mopar Performance distributor then it’s the Mallory YH style. Same advance mechanism as in my small block MP distributor. https://www.jegs.com/InstallationInstructions/600/650/650-29014.pdf Then this spring kit is the one he needs. Summit Racing...

Place a search on EBay for a Mallory 29014 kit which includes springs and tabs. 2 weeks ago I got an email hit from Ebay for a Mallory 29014 kit that was identified as a Harley distributor kit. There was a best offer option which I placed and won it for an amazing price.
