thx---its k b5 blue --the darkest shade of b5--I had a hard time choosing between b7 and b5 blue but I will be adding a black gts stripe and I think it will contrast better with b5

according to the bodyman who did the quarters the panels were of very good quality but there was some extra time involved in getting them to fit in the area of the outerwheelhouse to the quarters,( due some distortion), but this was to be expected since this is a fairly large piece of metal the...

panels are all painted--2 coats paint/ 4 coats clear wet sanded cut and buffed...

new paint sees its first rays of sunshine:glasses7:

car now has some paint..... :blob: base coat plus two coats of clear....car is now being sanded with 800 grit and another coat of clear will be applied ....then the hood ,doors and trunk will be painted and assembled

all metal work done---- car is now in primer ---I went in to do some menial labour to help save some money-- scuffing up the new amd panels,[/ATTACH][/ATTACH][/ATTACH][/ATTACH]

the painter sprayed a fender 3 different shades of blue-- ive decided to go 1974 kb5 (lucurne blue) -the darkest shade of b-5-- with a gloss black gts stripe

ordered new outer wheelhouses but just using the lower portions....

finally able to line up panels after a 9 week delay in getting front fenders:happy7:....

hello fabo. my 69 dart is going in for bodywork/paint......not a full resto but new full quarters/outer wheelhouse/trunk extensions and gts hood. I did the interior /exterior dismantle but will leave the rest for a friend who has a bodyshop here in Kamloops. I am working towards a gts...
