    4 speed shifter

I used the Competition Plus Shifter for my 74 Duster with Bench Seat. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/huu-3916789/overview/ You can get the linkage rods, operating levers and mounting plate from Brewers or Passon Performance. Or look around on here and maybe a member has what you need.

    Problems will not go away....

I see you are using the levers from a Non OD 833. One of the levers will not interchange between the a Non OD and an OD. It is the lever with that has the slot at a 45 degree angle. The angles are opposite between OD and Non OD. Sorry don't remember which one but I believe only one lever has...

    Z Bar Spring Clip

I was working on installing the Z-bar and I have a question I was hoping someone could assist me with. The spring clip that goes on the Z-Bar on the Frame Side is screwing me up. There are three possible scenarios for the spring clip installation which will affect the position of the Z-Bar...

    Shifter Mounting Plate

Thanks John. I did call Jamie Passon since I got the tranny from him. He said the plate should be the same as you said. He ran me through a couple of things I need to do. Thanks Again.

    Shifter Mounting Plate

The reason why I am asking about the plate is because I can't get transmission into reverse. I am using an OD shifter mount adpater. The rods and levers are from an A-body. The shifter mechanism is a competition Plus. The 1-2 and 3-4 shift smooth. I can't get reverse to kick in.

    installing four speed question?

I just intsalled, a few weeks ago, my motor and trans as one unit. Wasn't to bad. The biggest issue was the cherry picker casters not turning the way I wanted them to! All of the linkage and the shifter box had to be off because two of the shifter linkage rods go through cross member and the...

    Transmission Mount Spacer

I am reassembling my 1974 Duster 360 4-Speed. In the Mopar manual it shows two spacers that are used on the transmission mount. It appears I have misplaced mine. Does somebody have pictures of these spacers? How thick are they? They look square in the manual. It appears the mount goes...

Here is a link to the bushings. http://www.summitracing.com/search/?keyword=hurst%20bushing&dds=1 Also you could get a Door hinge rebuild kit and utilize the bushings. You will have to measure the shifter rod ends and the hole in the shifter mechanism to ensure everything will fit...

    Passon Od Vs Keisler Tko

I bought a rebuilt A-833 from Jamie. I thought he was very helpful. He didn't appear to get overly excited but wasn't rude. I would buy from him again no problem. He was at Carlisle last year. Maybe you could meet him in person and make your decions then. Best of Luck.

    Modified TTI Z-Bar

Has anybody used the modified Z-bar that is produced by TTI? It appears it may be their solution for using TTI headers in a 4-speed. Here's the link: http://www.ttiexhaust.com/CompParts/Zbar.htm It would be cool if it worked. Thanks,

3sp on the floor to 4sp

CBRXXTREME I got all of my parts from Passon Performance even the tranny. I haven't installed it yet but I heard nothing but great things about Jamie Passon's work. Also, I believe you could all of these things from Brewers. Good Luck.

3sp on the floor to 4sp

I am going to do the same swap myself on a 1974 Duster. I have not done it yet nor have I done this swap in the past. But, what I have been told is the biggest items you will need is the 4-Speed Tranny, 4-Speed Mounting Plate, 4-Speed Linkage, and 4-Speed Shifter Handle. Also, I believe...

    Hydraulic Clutch

Anybody have any familiarity with McLeod’s hydraulic clutch set up? I was thinking of using it on my 1974 Duster 360 4-Speed. I am not done with the car but I've heard a lot of people are having issues with TTI headers and the Z-bar. I thought the hydraulic clutch would be a possible...
