I will be out of town that weekend. I have an unpredictable schedule so I don't want my availability to influence the date or location though. Sorry, I wish I could be more solid. I know these things can be a real pita to organize.

The pre-order process took 2.5yrs but now that they are in production should be a few months by my guess.

Got a letter in the mail june 21st confirming my plates will be ready in "8-12 weeks"

Update: black plates are in production and should be delivered before end of summer.

The Black 60's plates just hit 7549. Required for production:7500. Fingers crossed

When all three (yellow, black, blue) reach 7500 orders combined. Here is a list of the order numbers so far. The plate I saw looked like an original black plate except for the California is not raised. If I can get photobucket to work i'll throw up a pic of what I think was one on that Cuda.

Orders update Sept,27,2013: 6697. 803 more orders and they go into production. I saw a black F Body Cuda at the Coronado Speed Festival that had them. Not sure how he got them though.

Pre-orders is at 5576. I hope "Fishy66" is available.

I wonder if you went through the DMV and requested the same numbers on a new "personalized" plate, and they were available, you could just pop the old ones on with the new stickers? I'm hoping the new ones will be noticeably different than the original Plates so the guys with their cherished...

Was fun. I want another one of those gourmet burgers! Couldn't be happier with the 273. Ran like a champ all the way home. Was grinning ear to ear even with old pine needles blowing up my shorts. Would love to see more A-Bodies up there. It's nice to see the mint Challengers and Chargers etc...
