    Whats everone working on?

Got lotsa interested persons....just waiting for that special someone to produce the $$$$$. Got 2 people comming on Friday to see the car. Wish me luck. I really have hesitations about selling it, but it's probably for the best. I just came in from the garage, waxing the love of my life...

    Why isn't it selling ?

Thanks Adam. I've got most of the original parts to go with the car and I still have the original dash in place. It wouldn't take much to make it Pro Street. How about a Pro Street car that does a 10 sec quarter ? I'm just puzzled cause I got over $25K + labor into the car and want only...

    Why isn't it selling ?

I've listed my car on several sites for a few months now, and haven't gotten any serious inquiries. I honestly thought that when I posted this car, I'd receive overwhelming responses from people that saw it as a much wanted car that was a good deal at a fair price. I'm left wondering if it's...

    a little progress

Very nice job. I had to do just about the same thing on my car a few years ago, so I can really appreciate just how much work goes into the job.

    k-frames???

I capped my frame rails using pieces from Auto Rust Technicians and was very happy with the materials, the fit, and the results. The pieces are beefy. I did the front frame rails, the torsion bar mounts and the rear frame rails.

    Drag Racing Tips?

In a quarter mile run with a fairly stock set-up, I don't think you have to worry about turning high R's which would hurt your engine. Just nail it and have fun.

    Some questions....

When I pull the driveshaft out of the transmission, am I gonna wind up with tranny fluid all over the floor? Everytime I ever pulled a trans, I ended up with fluid all over the place. I've found that unless you have the car up on a lift using a transmission jack, it's usually smarter to...

New best et's for sons cars.

Real nice job, Ron. Don't ya just love it when a plan comes together? Just curious, did you desktop dyno the Dart combo, and if so, how close did you actually come to the predictions?

Norm, what's wrong with 12.60? What were you expecting to run, and what was your previous best?

May I say? It Never Fails"

As Roseanne Roseannadanna used to say, "It's always somethin' ". I like to blame the Gremlins. They sneak into my garage at nite and do stuff like tangle the air hoses and extension cords. I haven't caught them yet......but when I do :angry1: Someone once said that life is 90%...

    Whats everone working on?

Just got done putting in Poly bushings in the UCA's - had to fight with the cam bolts - (my head is bloodied, but unbowed). In a week or so I'll be putting on the Eddy heads, going to a solid cam with more duration and lift, and roller rockers. That should get me down around 11.40 @ 120.

    I finally named my cuda

Jack, good idea but it wouldn't fly with my present wife. My 1st wife was named Rose. Yikes!!!! It took 25 yrear to forget about her and you just had to revive the nitemare :pukel: :pukel: :pukel: by bringing up her name! There, I feel much better now.

    I finally named my cuda

I like it. You picked a very appropriate name. I've been trying to come up with a name for my car for about 2 years now with no success. Maybe I should start a "Name that Car" contest. I kinda like Blood, Sweat and Gears, but it's just too long. Any ideas...

    Cost to prostreet....approx?

I too, at times, wish I had gone with the coilovers. I have ladder bars, 40" steel tubs, relocated SS leafs, and housing floaters. It was a lot of work and expense compared to just doing the backhalf with coilovers. One thing that I can attest to; this set-up flat out works. Maybe that...

    Cost to prostreet....approx?

I do all my own work, so I have no idea what the labor cost would be to "pro street" the interior, but I will tell you that it's a lot of labor. When I did mine, I used steel instead of aluminum. Why, you ask? For one reason, I never learned to weld aluminum. #2) Aluminum dents easily. #3)...

    Whats everone working on?

I just finished widening the wheelwell openings a total of 3", as the clearance was just too tight. Also, recurved the distributor, changed squirters and power valve in the Holley. Moved the tach off of the column and mounted it to the roll cage bar....much more visible. Looking into a bigger...
