well my alternator ended up being good :headbang: i went ahead and replaced the voltage reg. and negative wire cuz mine was ate up. hopefully this fixes my problem

Hey guys, i think my alt. has bit the dust so i'm replacing it. I curently have a single groove pulley on it now, and the belts on the groove closest to the motor, and the second one isn't used. On alt is a double groove running at 60 amps, and the the other is a single groove running at 50 amps...

i'm kinda confused on how i would do this, can somebody explain a little more in dept. thanks

eric s68 did you have to undo any of your steering compoinents. cuz i was thinking maybe i could slip it through the headers were it all connects at the pitman arm? thanks for all your guys help

now what'd be the easiest way to swap it out. i really don't wanna take the header all the way back out, it was a pain in the rear to put it in? is there some good tatical way to do this lol
