Scored a new clifford header set for $100 last week, pulled the engine from my parts car (71 Duster) found out it was a 225 and not a 195 like I was hoping but I have a head to cross section for a porting guide and an extra crank now, yay! New running plan is to do a long rod conversion still...

Also it should be noted that I am opening the runners and putting in larger valves, long term goal is turbo the slant but over this winter the main focus is setting a good foundation for the later plans

The Eddy carb I have is mechanical secondaires and I've adjusted the pump linkage a few times with no change, I've also played with the timing too but nothing removed the stumble besides taking the secondaries out of the equation so now it's more or less a 220cfm 2bbl with extra weight lol

I don't really plan on using it, i wanted the exhaust manifold since it didn't have all of the crossover studs snapped off like mine does and it had a downpipe on it

interesting to know! I was going to use it with an 80's Dakota throttle body but the flange is different. Are these intakes safe to media blast or no?

changing the intake? to another 2bbl intake? i cant think of any aftermarket SB 2bbl intakes but you could always go with an aluminum one meant for a 4bbl and put an adapter on it

well for starters I think I'll address parts for street 6's before i get too crazy

possibly I could do one head with the tall ports and a two/large valve aluminum head that accepts clifford/aussie/factory/hooker parts

I'm thinking a four valve head that uses LA style (TALL) ports with all of the ports (intake and exhaust) on the same side. You would have to use my manifold and header but it'd work! might make it accept bosses for FI like indy does with most of their intakes too
