66340sedan's Mopar Model Kits Diecasts & Toys

Keith, You have some awesome kits and parts etc... I was big time into kits as a kid and had shelves full of built kits, I had even won a trophy at the county fair for 1st and 2nd place. I had a ton of spare parts like you did, but sadly when I was a senior in HS we had a house fire and I lost...

    Winter time model building thread.

FYI, when I was a kid I would write to the model company for the kit I was working on. Say it had a bad mold of a part, I would ask them to send me a new body and they would free of charge. You might be able to email MPC and ask them to send you another carb because yours was deformed. Just...

Yep, very odd stuff going on with the kit. Like I mention I did this kit when I was probably about 12 years old and had no issues with it at that time.. Of course I didnt care so much about the details like I do now but it was a easier kit to build back then. Oh and another thing, the tie rod...

Im working on the 1/16th scale Dukes of Hazzard Charger my MPC. I did this kit way back when it first came out and thought it went together very well. I have to say that Im dissapointed in the molding of this one. There is a lot of extra material on the parts, like the molds are getting wore...

    Scamp models!

WOW, I cant bring myself to spend that sort of money on that kit. I've been thinking of converting the same kit they use Revell 68-69 Dart and do it myself to a 71 Scamp.

    Revell "Visible V8" Model Kit

I built one as a kid. Battery operated and I remember being so mad because when I turned it on the gears didnt mesh right and it wouldnt run. Nothing I could do either, I'd put one together again! Have fun!!!!

is anyone else totally into HotWheels

I used to be, but got out of them totally. I spent more money on them than then realized that I would rather spend the money on a real car. So sold them all off and bought myself my first mopar! I had all but a few of every mopar made. Had close to 15k hot wheels.
