    1.03 PST Torsion Bars

So glad that I could help these unethical folks engineer a proper fix for their torsion bars. They owe us a set but since we scratche d our defective ones on the way out they wouldn't make it right. So as cool as they are for getting what Firm Feel already has right, they didn't do the right...

    1.03 PST Torsion Bars

Firm Feel 1.06" bars for us all day long. We've been there, done it and the cost difference isn't worth the hassle you will get when the PST's don't work. You need a bar with 15 degree of offset in this diameter to get a proper adjustment on the bars. Of course when we go out we drive 1,000...

    Leaf springs: XHD or Hotchkis?

I have a set of Hotchkis springs with 3,000 miles on them for sale for $175. You will need new rear shackle bushings is all.

    1.03 PST Torsion Bars

Dan, we hated to go off on the forum regarding this as it's a last resort. PST is suggesting retaliation on our part but think about it. The bars don't work properly, we are not the only ones talking about the 0 offset and its lack of adjustment. As a result we deserve a refund on defective...

    1.03 PST Torsion Bars

I suspect we won't be compensated for our mutual loss either because we exercised our "right" to complain to pose a question in this forum. I'm out extra shop labor time, the additional $100 cost for Firm Feel bars, expedited shipping to get the Firm Feel bars here in time. You are out proper...

    Torsion bars

I think all of their bars are clocked either 30 or 15 degrees depending on diameter. My 1.06's are 15 degrees. If you look at the PST 1.03" thread you will see what we went through.

    1.03 PST Torsion Bars

Dan, wouldn't you agree that most street/strip guys use a 1" and under bar even for their big blocks? You must be able to pre load the bars for proper height. Having little to no preload adjustment put us in a bad spot and if Ma Mopar intended the springs to work this way there would have been...

    1.03 PST Torsion Bars

This is why I also brought it up. We wouldn't have scratched them if they worked perfectly as we wouldn't have tried to swap them side to side, clock them 1 hex, or anything else. When the car is sitting slammed on the bump stops with no front clip or fluids and you are out of time you make...

    1.03 PST Torsion Bars

I'd say these ARE defective with no offset. This is based upon our experience but let's let the OTHER 400+? ACTUAL? 1.03" users report how their cars sit with zero offset 1.03" bars and let's ask how much adjustment they have left. For us they flat out didn't work, I'd call that defective or...

    1.03 PST Torsion Bars

Since we are building a car with a few engineers in the house, (slows things down!), I will share our experience with the PST 1.03's for you Peter. In our application, (inline 6 with an aluminum alloy head, no installed fluids, or hood, we had to set the adjustment screws ALL THE WAY IN to...
