    Battery powered yard tools

Milwaukee does not have one. I would worry too much about voltage but the watt hour the battery can deliver. Also battery quality. I know Milwaukee are good and I assume Dewalt is also. Another case of you get what you pay for.

    Battery powered yard tools

18 volt. They now have a 12 Ah battery. There stuff is expensive but worth it. They have sales on kits every once in a while. Usually include a free battery or tool. The 1/2" inch impact is awesome. I don't even know where my air impact is anymore, don't need it.

    Battery powered yard tools

I have Milwaukee power tools and yard tools. Same battery fits both. The 9 Ah battery will trim my yard 3 times. It also fits 1/2'" impact for heavy jobs.

    Welders

I have the Thermal Arc 181i and really like it. When I did a search all I can find is this machine. Looks like they are branded as Tweco. Looks the same but is different color and is more expensive than what I paid 3 years ago. I have not used the TIG because I don't know how or have the...

What is the minimum size breaker for this welder???????

If using NB cable (Romex) #8. If using thhn wire in emt #10. This will cover 100% duty cycle. If only 50% u could go a size smaller with no worry. Had to look up in code book. At work everything is 480v 3 phase. We usually run #10, covers most welders.

Considering adding a lift - thoughts on 2-post vs. 4-post?

Personally, 2 post. But like others said it depends what your needs are. For storage, and oil changes. 4 post. For working on car, suspension, brakes, etc., 2 post.

    Car lift

2 posts need to be bolted to floor. So like mentioned earlier you need good concrete. Also if you have pipe in the floor for floor heat, it could be an issue.

    Impact wrench suggestions?

Dewalt or Snap On, otherwise pneumatic. The specs for Milwaukee look good but have never used one.

I was in a shop when a pvc air line exploded. After that I would never use it. It was like a bomb went off.

    Powering a 230v air compressor

Look on the nameplate for the motor on compressor. It may have 115v capabilities. It will also state FLA (Full Load amps). This will tell you what size wire you need. 20amps or less #12, 20-30A #10 and so on.

    Any Electricians? Advice on wire.

I would run 4 separate wires in conduit. Red, black, white and green. If you reuse the range wire the circuit will be limited to that amp draw even if you use bigger wire. So if the range circuit is not big enough you will need to replace wire all the way to breaker plus breaker. The wire...

    radiant heat

I had a cement truck driver hit the pipe with the chute once. Put a splice in, which is not the best, and finished the job. Still holding and saved alot of headache.

    radiant heat

I have put in thousands of feet of infloor radiant heat and in my opinion there is no better heat. It is slow to heat up but when it is warm everything is warm. You can open the overhead door, run the the car in or out, close the door and in a matter of minutes it is the same temp it was...
