Got quite a bit done today. Trunk lid is on. Axle is in. Engine and trans is on k member . Headers are test fitted and will fit, barely. I would of had engine in car but could not find torque converter to flex plate bolts . Will try again tomorrow.

Relubed the cam and lifters. Installed intake and primed oil pump. No leaks, oil to both sets of rockers and good oil pressure. Checked on fit of headers. Fit pretty good.

Got heater and ac box rebuilt and installed.

Took two days off and got a few things done. Got hard board headliner in. Not to bad. I had my buddy help. Would be almost impossible by oneself. Also got a lot off parts painted and fat mat down inside and on roof. Next big thing is get engine finished and in car . Axle is ready to go...

Car buffed out really nice. Am very happy with paint. Got engine painted.

Car is painted! Real happy with color choice. Had some issues with paint and clear. It was a hectic day but very happy with final result.

Thanks, I think it will. Just have a lot of effort and money invested. Been real busy with work and getting car ready for this so its a lot of excitement and nervousness. Might not sleep real good tonight. But can't wait to see it tomorrow night! Should of seen me loading it up on trailer...

A lot of the credit for the quick progress goes to my buddy who is doing the body work. He has done a couple cars and has been doing body work for 20 plus years so I pretty much follow his lead. One thing I have learned is use quality panels and don't be afraid to cut. Piecing in patch panels...

Undercoating on bottom. More blocking and sanding. Trunk and tail light section look real good.

Worked on rear brakes. Would like to do the rear disc upgrade but already had drum parts. Car has been blocked and primed twice. Hood and trunk still need some work but the rest is looking good.

Are you talking the Cherokee brakes or something else?
