No worries bout that, I plan on going to pull-a-part and cutting 2 tailpipes to run the exhaust out the rear. Just haven't gotten to it yet. Shouldn't be too hard to find in there. Right now i'm working on fixing an engine issue in the "318 Troubleshoot" thread :P

All I know of the engine for now is that it's a 318 that runs with a decent cam in it and no telling what other internals unless I take it apart. Which I don't plan on doing yet. I plan to drive it as is while I build a 360 that will take it's place in the future. I'll see if I can make a...

I actually found this rear on craigslist. The guy selling it is a total Ford guy and had it listed as a PLYMOUTH SURELOCK. I guess he didn't know the value. This thing is tight though, in great shape for it's age. He said it's been sitting in a building since 1972.

It's a late 60's B body rear, I think there's a 1/2 inch difference on the perches, Some say that it's ok to bow the leaf springs out that 1/2" and it won't hurt, others say it will bind.

Got my rear!!! looking around to see if I've got shock plates and U-bolts for it though. It's a 741 case Suregrip rear, Not a bad deal for $200... Gotta move the leaf perches a little bit, and clean her up. Took everything I had to pick this beast up and set it up where I can reach...

Updates pics!! Here lately my arms been to tired from sanding to take any news pics... But here we go! awaiting the 8 3/4 read I go pick up next week, Been doing a LOT of sanding, instead of sanding it all down I sand sections, then paint over the bare metal and sanded rusts spots with POR-15...

Ok, well i'm convinced, I will run the pipes back. Since it's not too far to go it should be cheap right? Never done anything like this before. Can I just get the pipes from Advance Auto and clamp them on?

I have thought about that... Floorpan is solid, trunk is not-so-much... I'll have to patch some holes and see if I get fumes, if not then i'll be happy, if so then time to re-plan exhaust... :/

Engine bay and engine have been cleaned up and made nice. Gaskets have been replaced, everything inside looks to be in great shape. New brake pads, and bleeders and hoses for the front end, Calipers look to be in good shape as far as the cylinders and seals. Rotors will stay as is for now, if...
