Alan I am glad you rescued Maxes car from paint shop jail. It has been way too long since he has been able to enjoy that car. I thought I was going to have to take my Johnny Lightning out of the box and strip it to match the car.

Well I have had mine for 35 and it’s been apart for 32 so you have some time. Hoping to have the drivetrain in it for the first fit up yet this year if I ever get the house renovation done

Jim I wouldn't be surprised if once you remove that inner fender well you also find the upper part of the frame and a frame mounts compromised also.
