    Aftermarket Cop wheels

I know wheel vintiques makes the 15" versions in a couple different widths, and stockton supposedly has 16" versions, but does anyone make or has anyone seen 17" iterations? I know they have 17" plain style steelies, just curious...

67-69 Dart front wheel backspace question?

205 is not too narrow for a 7" rim...they'll seat with no issues, and they'll ride handle and wear normally unless over/underinflated. I ran 205/65/15s on my Mustang with 15x7 turbine style wheels years ago because they were free and I was a poor teenager-absolutely no issues. What can get you...

    Another 17" LX Wheel Thread

Any issues rubbing anywhere? Any other items to square them in the wells? I looked up the parts on rock auto and the crown Vic wheels are listed as 17x7.5 where the LX are 17x7. I suspect the differences are nearly imperceptible one way or the other, but I don’t have any real numbers. Also...

Backspacing is the distance from the inboard side of the mounting flange to the inboard side of the rim Offset is the measurement from the inboard side of the mounting flange to the centerline of the wheel And if you have an E body axle, they have a 56"+ flange to flange width...A body 8...

Ooo...good point zhandfull-I think an E body axle is almost 4" wider flange to flange than an A body...get it in the car, then as z said, take measurements and go from there.

...or are you only wanting to move the springs in with the offset spring hanger kit?

Search members for younggun2.0...he was building a '64 Valiant-moved the springs in, mini-tubbed...can't recall his intended choice of wheels, but he actually ran a 17x10 wheel out back in his other car with mini-tubs...if you actually relocate your springs in to the frame rails, you'll have...
