    The tension comes from the LCA bushing. Loosen the LCA nut on the k frame a there should be no tension. It should be tighten at ride height only to avoid damage to the bushing

    How much clearance is the on the other side? Is the K frame shifted to one side? The LCA bushing pin/bolt could be bent. K frame or frame rail maybe bent. Good alignment shop can tell you what if anything is bent by the alignment angles.

    The steering arm (ball joint) to knuckle bolts are 3" long. The idler arm bolt has cotter pin but and no washers .If your has no hole for a cotter pin you could drill one or use red loctite.

    TRW bought MOOG out about 10 year ago the quality went down some but still the best going. You can get moog part cheaper by getting trw ,but open the box to make sure it a moog part before buying it..It will be stamped next to the grease fitting.You have 50/50 chance that it will be a moog part.
