There is a gasket that goes there and is held behind the choke assembly. I’ve seen them blocked with ball bearings and RTV if not using the choke.

Those are 2 good looking holes.

The question is, do you want to do extra work to get where you should have been from the get go?

Did you set the carb up before throwing it on there? I mean making sure the throttle screw was set barely open? Those dont have a return spring on them so if theyre not set right it'll stay open and do similar things.

Dont spray carb cleaner on it, clean it with gas. Jake

You like to **** around with them or not? If you do then holley its where its at. Ive learned to like the holleys more these days but a good edelbrock 750 will do the job if you dont like messing around. Jake
