Do you know what I really like about this. 8 years ago a 10.50 small block was kick azz fast. Now if we run 10.50’s we are bending over backwards to “fix it”. Lol

I gave them all the info when I initially ordered it and I went over what it is doing on the track. Kenny said he knew what to do to get it to perform the way I want. I am going to try the loner converter which should stall 400-600 more than the one I currently have. I will be able to see...

Looking at your dyno print, I would agree that you want some more RPM to get off the line. And it’ll certainly raise the RPM on the shift to get it there, but they may have to find a bit of a balance. Just make sure to give them all the info they’re asking for (weight, gear, tire dia, tell them...

My son went from 4:30 To 4:10 With the converter he’s going to try and I thought it would hurt and it didn’t. And he’s 300 pound heavier, 48 inches small engine, .040 less cam lift.

1968 Dart sudden rear end noise.

I'll have to do it tomorrow had to go to work. I'm hoping you're right. I had a brake return spring break on a 70 dart once but it just made the shoe drag and I never had this issue. It's making a gear sounding noise. Push the brakes and it goes away but then comes back in a few seconds even if...

1968 Dart sudden rear end noise.

I would start with the brake drums. Open up and look. I had some retractor springs that weakened and allowed the drums to jam. If that doesn't reveal a result, look into the gears. How many miles on the rear end?

850 Carter Thermoquad flooding at low rpm

Ok I'm confused; Why would you run that 296* cam at 1500rpm for so many hours? What were you thinking? You wanna bet your engine oil smells like gas? ------------------------------------------------------- Here's what I would do; A) at your cruise-rpm of 1500 rpm; check your ignition timing...

No, just 904. 10-15% is great for track, terrible for street. Converter Slip = torque multiplication (to the approximate range listed above…too much and it’s just a bad selection). Also, slip = heat of course. I should of course add that this is for the bracket racing we’re doing here. Soggy...

If you didn't have at least 1000 rpm shift drop what would be the point of shifting. You might need more rear gear.

Solve the puzzle? Draining converter with Magnum flex plate

The stuff in the picture, Was this used as a pair? or is it just stuff? Where's the alignment dowel for the block? If you need to have that drain plug accessible and balance weight is an issue, then make 2 holes opposite to each other, as in 180* apart.

1968 Dart sudden rear end noise.

Jack it up and pull the drums. You might get lucky and there's a spring in the drum that bounced around in there and locked the drum? You gotta start somewhere.

LOL… what the magazines write - 28 vs 10 & what the engine see’s. Enough numbers to keep your head spinning for a little bit.
