Lets hear your suggestions for a winch for a car trailer.

Just an idea here. For those of you who have winches permanently mounted, get a box fabricated for over the winch, which can be pinned in place with a few hairpins. Keeps the winch out of the weather when you aren't using it, and keeps debris out of it if you also haul other items (slabwood...

Classic industries carpet install issues- not for purists

Whatever you do, don't start trimming until you get the thing flat. You might try flipping it and warming the backing, that's what is tweaked

Stop in for a cup of coffee

I'm sure many of you have never seen a funeral procession in Vietnam. It's quite spectacular and different. Here is a picture of what we would consider to be a hearse. I see there is no one in this hearse at this moment but when there is a funeral in town or in the city this vehicle will be...

    Polka polka nights

Anyone into polka dance and music here. I joined a polka club in Denver, CO and of course the membership is mainly older, well much older people. (Dances do not go on very late) I think the dancing is fun and I do dance with old gentlemen, seems the younger ones don't dance or want to...

'70 Dart 392 Project; what direction?

Got a bracket ordered from Jegs. Should allow me to copy SRT8Cudas linkage. Modified my pedal again today. The cable was kinking a bit with a poor mockup so will secure it better and improve the routing when the bracket shows up. I can’t stand a sticky pedal motion so hoping this gets it right.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Finally, after four days got my new laptop up and running a Dell Inspiron 14 2 in 1. I hope it last longer than the last one but operator error dropping it on the kitchen floor and breaking the charging port didn't help. I made it work for a few months but finally gave in and bought a new one...

Ford 4.9 question. Yes ford question

You might have to go back to the early 80s to find an F100 or F150 with a 4.9 and manual steering, my dad had an 81 long ago with a 4.9, 3 on the tree, and "armstrong steering". I too like the bricknose generation, my 1990 Bronco.
