crank no start, it turns over but does not start up. it has fire and fuel the timing was not touched since it ran on Monday. yeah sorry I put Crank in there twice. it was supposed to be crank but not starting. I could see that being confusing.

The old comp High Energy 268 is also another good choice here. Or even a regrind on an old 360 cam core and lifters. An Oregon 1369 ground onto 108 LSA is as good as it can get here. It’s doable because most stock 360 cores are ground close to a 109 to start with. Hydraulic Camshaft Specifications

That '70-'72 choke thermostat's pushrod was meant to hook to a Holley 1920 or Carter BBS (final bend at the carb end of the choke pushrod is to make it point forward). The Holley 1945 carb on your engine requires a choke pushrod with its final/uppermost bend making it point rearward. Bends below...
