I pulled apart a 74 block and saved all the hardware. The hardware looks the same as from my 65 motor

The only thing good about say mid late 80's to 93 Dodge is the drive train the rest of the truck can't hold a candle to a ford of the same vintage anyone who says different never worked as a fleet mechanic on both . the 68 TO 79 Ford trucks were maybe the best ever made .

Bombastic as usual YR, This isn't about settling some internet debate once and for all. I think this is interesting and look forward to it--nothing more, nothing less. I just hope the dyno shop has a solid testing methodology and well maintained equipment. J.R.
