Paint it, Clear it or Let It Rip?

CudaChick1968 is Leanna's handle here. She owns a powder company in Tennessee, and does phenomenal work. And I think she currently has a special on powder coating manifolds.

Appreciate some input on spark plug reading

Here's @Mattax plugs and what Shrinker had to say: Do they look familiar: There is nothing happening in the cylinder. Theres no air being compressed. Its not even making enough bang to seal the rings, its even starting to look like its going to oil up the #3 plug soon. The general grey...

Are My New 727 Clutches, Bands, or Fluid Burning?

...burnouts that I did starting and staying in 2nd gear. I shifted at 6K RPM on both those passes. The fluid in the pan usually stays at around 150*F with the engine at 180*F and has gotten no higher than 190* in heavy slow-speed traffic on warmer days when the engine gets up to 200*. The...

EMPTY TERMINAL BOTTOM OF 67 CUDA HEADLIGHT SWITCH

Ok, the block below the headlight switch is the fuse block? A yellow wire on the dash is either part of the dome light circuit or the starter wire (maybe others). Any ground wires (very very few) are typically black with a ring terminal and screwed to sheet metal. The fuse block has a couple...

Appreciate some input on spark plug reading

Yep. Bruce Robertson aka Shrinker. He also said this: "Unleaded fuel makes exactly the same colorations as leaded. There is no difference in reading a plug on unleaded. If the plug wont color on unleaded its because you havent got good vaporization of the fuel. Unleaded is much harder to vaporize."

How is gear indicator plate removed on 1968 dart automaric column shift

Interesting. Those aren't even the same design as mine. My indicator panel has white frosting on the back of the plastic and the lettering is black with a silver border around the panel. What year dart has the indicators with white lettering in your photos.?

A more 'scientific' approach to plug heat range might be to use what the car maker spent hours on testing & researching. Then look at your engine & see what has been changed that might require a change, if any, in heat range; do not just fit colder plugs because Billy fitted colder plugs to his...

    Yoke seal

Two seals were used between 1965 and 1976 on 904 transmissions. Timken 8935s from 65 to 72 Timken 2506 from 72 to 76 !972 could have either one depending on the PK number. Since transmission could have been changed over the years, it would help to have the PK number stamped on the pan rail.

Well there were 10 cars (Most of any Class) in E/SA this last weekend and they were the fastest field I have ever seen in this Class. In the final we faced a early 70s Z28 LT-1 former built and owned by Jon's friend and Multiple World Champion Justin Lamb. It is now owned by K an N who is a...

...only thing that makes the job difficult and a PITA! Having watched a historic thread on FABO, the actual work would be no big deal otherwise. **HOWERVER - ONE LAST CHALLENGE for me is a missing or loose wire to the connector at the bottom of the headlight switch. I know that I removed a...

    NHL 23-24

Much better game from Georgiev tonight. He made some excellent saves early on to give the Avs a chance to get rolling. Even though the Jets opened the scoring three minutes in he settled down and and kept his team in it. Hellebuyck wasn't great, gave up one soft goal, and misplayed the puck on...
