Is there a trick or certain method for taking out the defroster vents so I can paint them ? Upside down and back throw out, then gentle with flat screwdriver produced no results that would not have damaged the vents. I know there has to be something I'm missing or just plain don't know. THX

My 65 Dart GT has two cracks in the dash pad, liveable but ugly. There's a guy, "Bob", on eBay who sells dash pad covers and will "match" color for an additional $35. Has anyone bought one of these and if so opinion of quality and fit ? THX
