It looks to me like the 7 1/4 and the 8 1/4 rear axle pinion snubber bracket mounting holes are 2 5/8" from center to center and the 8 3/4 rear axle bracket is 2 1/4" center to center. Is there anyone out there who can verify this for me, or give me the correct center to center hole distance...

OK so I have been reading up on the SB 904 trans swap to the SB 727 trans and the column shift linkage. I have all the 904 column shift linkage but from what I am reading the 727 needs a shorter rod from the frame bracket to the trans bracket, and also looks like it takes a different bracket...
