    Torque converter problems?

    I have a '73 Duster with a warmer over 340. The transmission and motor were rebuilt 1,000 mile ago. Last time I got on the gas, a loud bang and then no forward motion - the motor just revs. What could be the problem? Could the torque converter be messed up. Any input greatly appreciated?:read2:
