I have an 8.25 axle which came with a 4.10:1 sure grip, but I'd like to change to a highway gear and keep the sure grip. Can the same sure grip carrier in the axle be used for both size ring gears?

Do the 130 and 143 tooth SB flywheels use different bellhousings? If so, how do you tell them apart? Is it correct that a 130t flywheel uses the 10.5" clutch and the 143t uses the 11"? Thanks in advance for the help.

Are all shock plates the same for an A body, regardless of axle, as long as the tube dia is 3"? In other words, will shock plates from an 8 3/4 work on an 8 1/4 rear axle? Thanks.
