If you were building one from scratch what would be your dream build. Best of the best. Gear ratios excluded of course. Thinking about building one for my duster and already have a bare housing. Just wondering what parts would be the best to use to make the most solid rear possible.

Does anybody know if the rear brake setup off a later New Yorker will fit on a 8 3/4 housing? I'm looking at building a setup from a bare housing I have and found a complete new yorker in the junk yard. Thanks!

I was just wondering if there is any value to an 8 1/4 rear end? I have one in a parts car that I am scrapping and if there is no value to it i'm not going to waste my time taking it out. My duster has a 7 1/4 but I already have plans to upgrade to a 9in (i know i know but i got it cheap...
