    66 Cuda clutch/brake pedal assembly

I have a 66 Cuda parts car that came with a 3 speed on the column. Are the clutch/brake pedals interchangeable with other a-bodies, like a 73 duster? Are they worth anything on the open market? Wondering if I should pull them to sell (or keep), or just leave them on when I part the car to...

    Converter Manufacturer Choice

Ok, so I've read 30 different threads, and done my homework, and talked to several vendors. I have a 408 stroker into a 727 reverse manual tranny in a 3.73 Dana. Currently running a TCI Streetmaster 10" converter, about 2800 stall with about 10% slippage at cruise and through the lights, best...

    727 2-3 upshift VERY harsh

I recently had my Tranny & Torque COnvertor rebuilt at PTC in Muscle Shoals, AL. I had the tranny pulled out at a local shop, drove it 3 hours to PTC, and waited while the rebuilt it. I came back home and got it reinstalled, and all seems to drive OK, except... The 2-3 upshift is extremely...

    8 3/4 reusable gaskets?

Is there such a thing as an 8.75" reusable 8.75 gasket for the chunk to housing? I'm thinking the blue ones like on the Holley Carb bowls. I know RTV is often used, but what if I want to change out chunks at the strip? Anybody know a source?

    8.25 to 8.75 driveshaft?

Will my 727 to 8.25 rear end driveshaft in my 73 duster bolt directly to a replacement 8.75 rear (small bolt pattern), or does it need to be longer with a different size U-joint? According to the chart blow, the 8.75 is about 0.66" longer from the centerline to the yoke than the 8.25. Thanks!

    727 problems, opinions wanted...

I have a 73 340 Duster with a 408 stroker and a 727. The 727 has a high stall convertor (3000 rpm TCI streetfighter) and a manual reverse valvebody. Symtoms: 1. When I first start the car, and place it into reverse, it will take several seconds and some high revs (maybe 2500) to get it to...

Help me ID this torque converter

I pulled my 73 340 (external ballance) from my duster on Saturday, with the intention of replacing it with the 408 (internal balance) that I built. I am not sure about the torque converter I have currently, as it came installed in the car when I purchased it. The tranny is a 727. I assume it...
