Friend of mine has a65 sport fury,383,833 4 spd. Trans needs rebuilt. I found a 833 from a Challenger, but was a small block. can we swap bell housings and run it?? how bout tail shafts are they the same?? Any info or problems with this would be appreciated, thanx.

Friend of mine has a 65 Sport Fury, 383, 833 4 spd. Trans needs a rebuild. Found him a 833 trans out of a 71 Challenger, but its a small block. Can we just switch out the Bell housings and run it? Not into 4 spds at all so any advice would be great thanks! Are the tail shafts the same also???
