    Blank fender tag.

So I bought a parts car for a project. It’s a Satellite Sebring Plus. You know, fairly loaded up. But when I was pulling the carpet to remove the shifter mounts I found this. First time I have seen or heard of it. Not a mark. Zip. Zero. Nada.

    Thinking about another project.

I had a line on this car a few years ago. It still sits in its jail cell to this day. A project that lost interest. It’s a hemi orange Scamp. It’s another unique one. Similar to my old one Rex. 318, buckets console.

    Just because......

Tom, aka @Dartnut, (Hi Tom!) stopped by this afternoon to play with his Valiant. Slowly but surely this baby is getting closer to being on the road. In fact, it’s basically there. I just thought I’d post a couple pics. It is a super cool little ‘69 in my opinion! It’s fun to help with...

    Today’s score

Today’s score came with a nice visit with a gentleman who had a few more gray hairs than me. I had a 12 Hour drive today on my way home from work so I did a little shopping on the way. I grabbed a pair of 68 Dart low back bucket seats and the rear seat and the console and a 69 A 833. Shortly...

    Now this is cool!

A Nodwell with an A100 body. Nice! I like it. I like it so much I may look into owning it.

    Header identification.

Ok, I saw these and they are being called A-body big bock headers. I must admit, I have no clue, but that driver side is different than any B-body header I have by a long shot. Does anybody recognize the style? Yes I tried searching here to see similar but found nothing. I might grab them “just...

Want help on a 383 VIN

I know it is very unlikely to ever make it home, but before I commit to using the engine I just acquired, I figured I should see what it was out of. I picked up a 1970 HP 383 for my 66 Coronet. It has the VIN of 0A223344. Pretty cool VIN actually. I know some members here are good with these...

    Distributor question.

Of course @halifaxhops is the first member that comes to my mind when distributors come up. But I want to hear any opinions. It may be nothing but this distributor has a box in the side that I have not seen before. It is with some other 71 440 parts I plan on buying, but I can’t determine what...

    It’s got cop tires........

"It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas" Who’da thunk?

Well, the VIN starts with an A!

Green on green with a touch of green, imagine that! Did I need it? No. Could I turn it down? Well, we all know the answer to that! 360 truck automatic need some rust repair. But don’t they all?

    Engine ID by color!

OK, I have a weird one here. Has anyone seen a yellow small block seemingly original? I have found an engine in a truck that is advertised as a 313 (poly). It is not as the picture shows. It is an LA engine in place where a poly should have been. It was very tough to determine the intake numbers...

    Left hand studs

I just finished cleaning up a set of Kelsey Hayes rotors. I blasted them and painted them. Then I blasted the lugnuts. I never noticed before, but the left hand nuts have L E F T stamped on them. Just a tidbit of useless info you didn’t really need to know or care about!

    Merry Mopar Christmas to me!

I call this "Bernie's 340" because I got it from a fellow named Bernie.........I know, how original! This is the fellow I got the 68 Barracuda from a few years back. I finally got this deal worked out. It is a 73 340 he pulled from a road runner way back when. Gave it some oil in the cylinders...

Just an F.Y.I. If you ever had a bulge in a tire.......

and wondered why it did that. Well, I bought a set of rims with rubber a couple years back. They were all good but one. It had a bulge. It was no worry to me, I bought them for the rims. I proceeded to put them away with the masses. So they have been in my storage shed for a couple years. Today...

    Different 1972 Duster

While researching, I came across this car. It is different than any I have seen. The vinyl top is more of a landau style and it has a hood emblem and tail panel emblem as well. Not sure whether I like or dislike the whole layout, it's just different. I was thinking the top could have been a...

    I am crazy......not!

Ok, I admit, I'm a bit outa hand when it comes to cars. I have no problem accepting that. So I had to move the Coronet out of the shop today in order to get this in. It is a 72 Gold Duster. All there, complete, original engine etc. 318 auto, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, I traded my 78 D100 for it...

    Crankshaft question

Hello gurus. I have just picked up some parts and one piece I got is supposedly a 440 steel crank. The guy told me it was a good one with smaller offsets that may not require a bunch of work to put it into a 383 block. I have a list of part numbers for cranks both cast and forged, but I can not...

Or is it just me? Today was the worst day in weeks for cold and snow. And what do I decide to tackle? I make an offer on a truck I found a while back.........and the guy accepts! I dug out some older magazines and found an interesting and positive mention of not only Mopar, but a specific praise for A-bodies. I tried to find it online but couldn't. Here is a pic and a close up of the comment. It's a good little write up on how Ma Mopar stood alone and walked it's own...
