    any chemists here?

    What happens when paint gets on internal engine parts? Does it come off and clog the oiling system? Or does it just get caught into the filter and it's as simple as changing the filter? I myself HIGHLY doubt it can clog an engine, but I do need some good answers.

    tuning tips for going on trip...

    i am going to reno in the cuda this weekend and wondered if i should change anything like timing, jetting, etc. since reno is at 4500 feet and donner summit reaches 7000 feet. will it run too rich? will it drive like crap? i have never driven that high of elevation in a carbureted vehicle.

    which head gasket?

    my motor is at the machine shop and they just called me to ask which head gasket i want to run. they are suggesting a gasket that is .060 compared to the one that was on there at .040. i wasn't hitting at all but with the pistons out .010, they want to play it safe. what do you guys think...
