I'm a fan of Castrol oil, and just saw this oil for the first time. Not sure how long its been available, but it claims it has high zinc, and phosphorus content. Looks like it only comes in a 20-50 weight. I prefer 10-30. Anybody used it ? Anyways, thought I would throw another option out there...

Getting a LA 360 prepped to go to the machine shop. I've chassed all the threads, wire brushed coolant passengers, and cleaned up some of the casting left behind. A little bit of my handy work. The block will be going in next week.

Got the car back together today,poured a little gas in the carb and fired it up.Set the timing and she sounds real good.Still have to find the 4bbl throttle brackek and kick down rod if anyone has one laying around.All in all sounds like she is gonna be a runner.
