Installed shifter in my 71 plymouth valiant(318 w/904). Wiring was hacked! Rewired factory neutral safety/back-up switch. Does this shifter not need to be wired into the circuit? Also the car would start without any wiring to the neutral safety. Wiring is a mess at the started relay. I think...
