Why would I be getting different readings on driveline angle between the balancer face and the trans out put shaft? Balancer shows -2* @ 88.1 but the output shaft shows -3* @ 87.0. WTH don't I understand. Which is correct?

So I have what I think is an issue with the rear leaf springs. They are Hotchkis 24385 Abody springs and they make my car look like a 4x4. There are many people here running this leaf but I cannot find a similar situation. Opposite actually. So my car is a 68 notch. Uscartool inboard 3 hole...

The ones that came off the car are 3.5" on center. The hotchkis are 4" on center. And the prothane ones are 3.75" on center. What is everyone using with the springs relocated? What is factory?

I can't find this info? I see A body rear shackles and B&E shackles. But I also see A B & E shackles. I see 4" center on center Shackles and 3.5" shackles. WTH? Any insight. Keith

I have some black acetal I'm thinking of making some spring eye and shackle bushings. For the eye bushings, I was going to use the 1 1/2" rod at 3" long. My bolts are 5/8" x 4"and are smooth for 3 1/8". Do I need to have a steel sleeve? What do you think.

I feel like im losing it. service manual doesn't show floor shift assembly for the steering column. I disassembled mine for paint with out taking pics. I can not figure out what the bearing housing retaining nuts retain? nor how the (non gearshift) housing is kept from rotating in the column...
