    tie rod taper. 7 or 10 degrees or ??

    Does anyone know what taper the tie rods are on the Mopar? I've seen 7 degrees on a Ford and 10 degrees for GM but nothing listed for Mopar. I am thinking of replacing my tie rods with heim joints to gain a little steering clearance.

    Look what I found...

    I was checking my speedometer cable today and just happened to notice this. The right hand torsion bar mount factory weld has popped loose on one side. don't know how long it's been like this. Doesn't look like the weld penetrated the cross member on one side. Other side looked ok. FYI

    odd steering problem

    I have an odd steering problem on my 66 cuda. It has power steering. When you start the car up the steering wheel tries to turn to the right by itself. I already replaced the pump so I am assuming that the problem is in the steering box. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
