Rebuilding the lower control arms in my 65 Barracuda. Have new bushings and shaft. My question is the adjuster bolt works great on both sides, but the lever is very tight on one side. Is there a way to free this up.

I pulled the torsion bars on my 65 Barracuda Formula S and found the numbers 626/7. After a lot of search I found an article by Slantsix Dan from 2013 stating these were equivalent to 892/3. That did make me feel better, but curious why the number difference. Ma Chrysler, right

On a 65 Barracuda, are the rear wheel bearings suppose to be greased or not? One manual says grease them, the factory manual says don't. Any ideas? I have new bearings to install but the old ones seem to be in good shape. I may just replace the leaking wheel seals. and leave it as is for now...

OK, the bushings in the upper control arm are done. Now is there a trick to removing the ball joints. It looks like they screw in but I'm not sure. Thanks again for your help.

OK, it looks like the upper arms are going to be a snap. I made the tool but the threaded rod I bought started to strip the threads so I need a stronger rod and bolt combo. Now how do I remove the lower arms to replace the bushings in it. Thanks for all of your help.
