My 67 cudas torsion arms are not connected to the bolt. Car had blocks in it. I am taking them out. Carvisvrunning in the air on stands. If I Jack the wheelbup will the lever the bolt goes in come back down? Or how should I do it?

Does anyone know what the stock length the rear shock is on these cars? I need the length of it completely collapsed closed. I am lowering the slow dart and have to order new caltrac shocks... The ones on it now are long...
