While stripping my Dart down to bare chassis I have noticed that the factory welds are spotty at best. Would finishing off the seem welds make much of a difference on tightening up the chassis ? Anyone done this and noticed a difference ?

The latch on my decklid ( 68 fastback ) seems to be too far back. It hits the very rear portion of the striker ? Are they supposed to be shimmed forward ? I am sure they lined up when I took the car apart...... Any ideas ?

my 73 340 dart sport originally came with longinatudinal (?) stripes, hood stripes and tail panel stripe. does anyone know if someone reproduces these anymore or have pics of a car with them. I know how the side stripes go, but I can't say I have ever seen the tail panel or hood stripes.
