I got a call yesterday from a friend asking about the early B body 4 speeds. He has a cast iron short shaft t-10, we think it's from a 62-63 B body. Is there any way to verify what it is? Does anyone know what the value is?

I was thinking about something I saw here, Why not use the new 5.2 bell housing for a 5 spd? Is there much difference in over-all dimensions? Did they use a hyd clutch? Maybe a 5 speed isn't so hard to install after all..Just a thought!:read2:

I have a 833 for my Barracuda that shifts hard 1st to second, I think it's the syncros...but it doesn't grind. I need some info. On the pad are the nos or183276 the case has pp8333409. Anyhelp would be appreciated. :cussing:
