Can someone recommend a source for the correct speedo cable for our '65 Formula S? How long should it be? Thank you.

Don't know for sure what it had from the factory, but a previous owner installed an 8 3/4 open rear end (489 case) in my '65 Formula S automatic. (did you notice the big dent in the lower part of the center rear?).

I looks like there was a factory paper gasket behind the front backing plates (10" drum) on this '65 Valiant which ripped up when removing the plate. Does anyone know the intended purpose of placing a gasket in this location? I don't see anything there that needed "sealing". Thank you.

The majority of '65 Valiants came standard with 13" wheels (the formula "S" I believe came with 14" wheels). Our '65 Signet convertible currently has 14" wheels and I was wondering if those came from the factory originally or if a previous owner upgraded? Thank you.
