    NSS Inline 2x4 Intake

Is the Indy Modman the only inline 2x4 intake that can be used other than a Max Wedge intake? I was almost sure the NSS inline intakes I've saw in the past were boxier looking than an Indy ModMan with a 2x4 top plate. Did they make another inline intake prior to the ModMan? Thanks, Tom

Made Some Titanium 440 Crankshaft Damper Bolts & Washers Today

The heat has been pretty oppressive the last two weeks in Indiana, so I figured it was time to get this project done and spend some time in the AC. I took a couple 7/8" diameter 12-point titanium aircraft bolts I bought off eBay years ago and made them into crankshaft damper bolts. Titanium is...

How a New 426 Hemi/ 440 Wedge Block is Machined @ Energy Manufacturing

10-12 hours of machining to take a raw casting to retail. I am going to guess that those machines are in the $250 an hour range, so that's $2500 to $3000 worth of machine work. This will help explain why a new block cost so much. Tom

I did a 65 cubic inch plenum volume reduction on a Mopar M1 Tunnel Ram top to better suit my intended RPM range usage. I think it turned out very well. A little beveling, welding, smoothing, and it will be ready to go. Tom

What Fuel Pump Are You Carbureted E85 Guys Using???

Decided to bump up the compression on my 499" RB and go with carbureted E85. So today I bought a new Horse Power Innovation 950 CFM 4150 carb that actually flows 950 CFM. I am trying to decide between a Aeromotive SS fuel pump and a MagnaFuel Quickstar 300. However I am interested in hearing...

What Big Block 727 Dipstick Tube and Locking Stick are you using in your Tube Chassis Race Car?

I was looking at the Allstar Performance Locking Trans Dipstick Chrysler TF727 Big Block Part # ALL69121, but wondered if there was a better option, or something I could score at the Pull-A-Part? Getting an early start on several small projects for next season. Thanks, Tom
