Motor was pulled by the millenium seller, (OK he screwed me), was supposed to be a good runner. It will turn over about half way, he no doubt had issues and put it back together without a head...
I guess over the decades I have taken in and out 8-10 slants, but each time I debate with myself what is the best way to handle it. All I have ever used on any engine is a chain and cherry picker st).
I always have to do the deed with the trans attached. It is a drool tube engine.
Took them off 2 years ago and I can not find them anywhere. I have what I believe is a correct bracket for the left side but I am pretty sure the right side is different than the ones I have (which takes a rubber mount that attaches to the bracket with 2 bolts). I think I bracket I need the...
'79 Volare 225. When I got it , had a pinhole leak in radiator. Only drove it down the road and back, no distance. Did not run hot at all. I replaced the rad with a new one, thermostat, now it runs hot right away. No leaks, oil if full of water. Is this the head gasket or a crack...
I was looking at my stash of slant plugs, and I noticed the difference in length of the NGK ZFR5N vs the NGK UR-4...... looks like one is 3/8 or maybe 1/2 inch further into the head than the other. The UR-4 being the shorter one\
I have a peanut head on 2 cars, O Reilly shows the ur-4 as a...

I may wind up dropping in a 67 up 225 in a car with 833OD. here is the question: if this slant engine was set up with auto, will the "problem solving" bearing fit into the crank register?? where I do not have to mess with the pilot bushing?? just...
