Here's a collection of PDF files I collected related to roots blower dealers and other tech info you might find helpful. The catalogs include tech info. It's a 34 mb download as a single ZIP file.

Just a notice to anyone might be interested that I've updated my project website with several new pages covering my 6-71 blower project this past Summer. Hope you enjoy!

Second road test. Less than 100 miles on it. A little "Round the Block" road test video. Still staying cool @ 85*+ oustide. Crank up those speakers.

So I've been sweating how I was going to cool this thing since there's zero room for a fan between the blower drive and the radiator (any radiator). So here's what I did and the results (so far) :thumbrig:
Started with a Summit 2 row, 27"x19" crossflow radiator ( SUM-381428 ) which fits the...
Here's a video of the initial fire-up and tweaks. Still waiting on a Spal fan so we had a couple of electric fans moving some air.

Love that classic whine. Crack the throttle from inside the car and I can tell this is going to be a much different animal than the old NA 440. :toothy8:
Putting together a blower motor for the Duster. Space is tight as it is between engine and radiator and the blower drive is only going to make things worse. Wondering what folks are using for radiator (and fan) on a setup like this. Would a two row aluminum rad keep temps under control? Until...
This question is for anyone running a BB with a 6-71 blower. Since space is already at a premium up front, I'm wondering what you're cooling setup is like - radiator, fan, etc. Don't want to cut the core support for 26" rad either.
Been doing the research. Starting to gather parts. I'm interested in real world experience, not someone's "I heard that...".
Everything I've read and found suggests using a cam with 112-114* lobe separation - with 114* being the target. A little more lift and duration on the exhaust side is...
Interested in "been-there, done-that" suggestions on modifying a stock steel hood for a 6-71? Dimensions, how much "hole" clearance, finishing the opening, etc. I'm sure I can figure it out but I'd like to see what others have done.
Guy is asking $2300 for this BDS setup for a 440. Since I would not be able to inspect the items before purchase I'd have to assume it needs "freshening up", despite whatever condition he says it's in. And that assumes no internal damage.
What kind of offer would you make on a blind sale like...
