    Crank bolt to hold damper

This big bolt was a pain to take out. Probably because it was eating the threads inside the crank snout. Would anybody know if there is one longer than this 2-5/8 length crank bolt? Yea, threads are destroyed inside as well, but, only as far as the bolt goes in. Perhaps tapping to the next...

And so it starts... 340 build

Well, I’d thought I’d post up a thread on some garbage I have. This is an engine refreshing. Hone the cylinders and reinstall the slugs it cams with and I was lucky enough to not need to rebore the engines cylinders. Dated 9-30-71. This is a no rush build that will be finished when it is...

And so are the intakes of course. Below are 2 different M1 single plane intakes for the small block. Can you tell which one...

    W2 intake manifolds pics

I was asked about the W2 intake selection since it has recently cropped up in threads. I only have 2 intakes. (Yea I know! WTF!) In the recent threads, (various threads) the W2 head and intake selection came up. MoPar has the only dual plane W2 intake available. It is much like the OE dual...

    1.5 - 1.7 rocker ratio

Just wondering, since you can take a "LA" cam and install it in a Magnum engine and gain lift with the 1.6 ratio, which is probably good... What about making use of the 1.7 rocker available for a Magnum engine on the 1.5 rocker ratio "LA" cam? Lets also say we have VERY well ported Edelbrock...

    Off set crank grinding

Hey! I gotta question! What is the max stroke you can get from a OE Chrysler small block crank? 340 or 360 cranks? I myself have 360's. so that's where my query really is. Use of the smaller gerneric rods sizes (AKA Chevy rods) help in this area, but to what limit? Who has done it?

    Dual pick up distributor

I'm trying to help a buddy out here with a disaster of a combo he needs to simy get going. The first issue is the dual Pick up in a Ram Charger that is running WAY to much cam. It is a 360 CID @ 8-1 with a purple 284/.528 (as I'm told) and a OE stock low stall converter. (What a dream ride...

I just picked this up from a member out in Cali. I had intrest in a dual plane dual quad intake. But this one is for the earlier 273, small intake bolt and odd angle. I'll have to find something to measure the angle with later, but you can see it easy enuff. And the smaller hole as well...
