    Do I have a sure-grip or not?

Trying to verify whether or not the 8 3/4" rear end in my Dart GT is a sure-grip. With the rear axle up on jack stands and the transmission is in neutral. When I rotate the passenger side wheel, in the forward direction, the driver side wheel also rotates in the same forward direction. If my...

    8 3/4" Rebuild

Looks like I may need to have my 3.23:1 sure-grip 8 3/4" rear-end rebuilt. I have an appointment to take it to a very reputable Mopar man in late August (after the Woodward Dream Cruise). I have no idea what a rebuild will cost. Anyone have a "ball park" figure?

    8 3/4" Gear Oil Level

I've got an 8 3/4" in the Dart GT. I've noticed some gear lube drops on the floor under the rear differential. How do I check the level? What should the level be? If it is low, what type of gear oil do I fill with (90W?)? Any specific brand? Does sure grip make a difference additive wise...
