    If not, Grab a handful of wrenches and get after it. You might be surprised what you find loose. This should be done every week and it doesn't take long. Nothing worse then to have stuff fall of your race car while heading down the strip because you know it will show up on YouTube.

    So I'm buying new slicks. Race car only. I get the part one is softer, stiffer walls, Drag vs street, Bias vs radial, Blah blah. And yes I have surfed the net and the website. So let's talk about the compound ONLY. Why would you not buy the softest compound? Anybody have experience switching...

    4 speed/ gears and 60 ft

    Here is the car info. 67 Valiant street car/ occasional 1/8 mile drags. 360, 4 speed, 3:91 gears w/lock right, 484 cam, aero recon heads, 600 eddy, exhaust manifolds, mufflers, DOT street slicks. Here's the issue. I swapped out my 4 speed OD for a regular 4 speed thinking the close ratio...
